A recent survey* showed that the Wye Valley is one of the top 10 most beautiful places in the UK.
This is not surprising because the word “picturesque” was first used in a book that described this area. More people are choosing to go on short breaks to places such as the Wye Valley to get away from the busy urban streets and get the gasp moment captured on their camera phone.
A survey of 2,000 British adults found that beautiful landscapes, peaceful locations, and quiet surroundings are the things most people want for a perfect staycation.
Places like the Wye Valley because of its untouched natural beauty are getting harder to find in, so it’s no wonder it has turned up as one of Britain most picturesque locations. It’s also Bob Mortimers favourite River to fish on as revealed on the very popular BBC 2 fishing programme with Paul Whitehouse, Gone Fishing.
Staying at The Kilpeck Inn luxury B&B mean you’ll be staying in no ordinary B&B. It is also home to award winning local food and drink with the added advantage of the Wye Valley being right on your door step.
You are only minutes away from Symonds Yat, Hay On Wye, Monmouth & Hereford all incredible Wye Valley destinations.
