Came with extended family of 10 from Boston and Munich to show the out-of-towners "real" British fish-and-chips in a "real" English country pub. There wasn't a crumb left on a plate (including the delicious Bream and fishcakes that others ordered). We sat inside in a side room which gave us a lovely sense of privacy and occasion, and the staff were charming and accommodating, and patient with the two kids in our group. Cannot wait to return on my next visit home!
